May in Colorado can bring cloudy skies and cold weather but doesn’t stop gardening enthusiasts from the biggest sale of the year: Denver Botanic Garden’s Annual Plant Sale, May 6, 7 & 8, 2010. Thursday night’s Preview Party enticed the earliest of the early birds to the gardens to enjoy wine and appetizers while being the first to shop the Garden’s herbs, succulents, annuals, perennials, fruits and berries, containers and hanging baskets.

As presenting sponsors of the event, Perry & Co. agents, staff and guests enjoyed the socializing and the plant purchasing.  “Nothing like a little cool weather to make these plants hardy enough to take home,” joked Don Larrance, President, Perry & Co. to fellow garden-lovers and Perry people: Jon Larrance, VP of Perry & Co., Corrie Lee and Barb Perry, Broker Associates.

The event is open to the public through Saturday, May 8 and offers a unique opportunity to purchase plants grown by the gardens, to talk to the staff about plant care and to wander the gardens for ideas and to view the fabulous Henry Moore sculptures on display. Don’t miss it!
