The Berkeley Park Neighborhood – Take Time to Explore!

24Feb09

Many Denverites have heard of Highlands, most have heard of Sloan’s Lake, some have heard of Sunnyside, but are you familiar with the Berkeley Park Neighborhood?  Located between Federal and Sheridan, 38th and 48th Ave, this bustling neighborhood is filled with great restaurants, galleries, quaint shops and some amazing homes.

The Berkeley neighborhood was featured in May ’08 5280 Magazine as one of the 14 Denver neighborhoods offering safe real estate bets in a shaky market.  According to Lindsey Koehler, of 5280 Magazine, “Why It’s a Safe Bet: It shares boundaries—and therefore some cachet—with the hip Highland area, but with a more affordable price point. There are plenty of housing options, including scrapes, lofts, row houses, and a cadre of fixer-upper bungalows and solid ’50s ranches. While less architecturally consistent and charming than nearby Harkness Heights and Highland, the neighborhood has quiet, pleasant streets and a burgeoning retail, restaurant, and arts scene means that most everything is walkable.

If you take the time to drive (or walk) through the Berkeley Park Neighborhood, you’ll find an amazing new duplex located at 4425/4427 Stuart Street, just one block from the main street of Tennyson.  These new homes will be completed in the Summer of 2009, just in time to walk to the park, to restaurants and enjoy all the Berkeley has to offer.  They will feature 3 stories of modern living, high-end finishes, mountain views from enormous decks, nearly 2,500 square feet of living area plus a basement waiting for you to finish.  They will be priced in the mid-$600 range and pre-construction pricing and incentives apply.  For floorplans, Gina Cornelisonrenderings and more information, contact Gina Cornelison with Perry & Co. at 303-520-0128 or .  If you are relocating to the Denver area and would like more information on Berkeley, or any of the neighborhoods in Denver, don’t hesitate to call or write.
