Carla Bartell was excited to receive a very special wedding invitation… to be the exclusive Realtor® for VOWs, Colorado’s finest wedding collective for brides and grooms.  Opened in January 2010 by Kerri Butler of A Touch of Bliss, in a re-designed Blake Street warehouse storefront, VOWs, offers one-stop-shopping for brides and grooms so they can design the wedding of their dreams and meet with twenty of Colorado’s premier wedding vendors under the same roof.  In addition, VOWs also hosts special events for engaged couples and their families in their open, loft-like space. 

VOWs vendors include a photographer, videographer, florist, caterer, wedding invitation designers, bridal and formal wear specialists, salon and make-up artists, travel agent, wine connoisseur and now, a Realtor®.  “I’m thrilled to be a part of this great group of vendors working with people at the happiest of times,” says Bartell.  “This brings back so many great memories for me as my husband and I got married here in Denver and we bought our first home here together, so I know exactly what these couples are going through.” 

As the exclusive Realtor for VOWs, Carla is available to work with couples as they figure out what their housing needs for the future will be.  “Some couples may need to rent one of their properties while they look to buy another.  Others may need help in selling two properties to purchase a new home together.  Or they may decide to change neighborhoods – there are so many issues and options to understand, I want to make this transition as smooth as possible during this very busy, and sometimes, stressful time.” 

The vendors at VOWs can promote their services using displays in specially designed shelves for the warehouse space.  Carla chose “Find Your Nest” as her theme to market her services – using a birdhouse, a suitcase (filled with her business cards) and a miniature Perry & Co. sign posted in flower pots.  “This is truly a time of building a nest – and buying a home is one of the best ways to invest in your future,” explains Carla. 

Having grown up in Denver, and being an experienced Realtor with Perry & Co., Carla has listed and sold homes throughout the Metro area and worked with buyers in all price ranges.
