DENVER BOARD OF REALTORS® STATEMENT REGARDING CEO BARB LAMBERT – APRIL 16, 2010

Denver Board of REALTORS® CEO Barbara Lambert has advised the organization’s leadership that she will not seek renewal of her employment contract with the association when it expires at the end of September of this year.

Ms. Lambert, who has served as the organization’s CEO since coming to Denver in Oct. 2001, and has held numerous leadership positions with REALTOR® organization’s across the country, is leaving the association to pursue other career interests.

In accepting Lambert’s decision, Denver Board of REALTORS® 2009-2010 President Mark Trenka noted that she has been an extraordinary leader and provided tremendous service to members, the organization and the real estate industry. He expressed gratitude to Ms. Lambert for her vision and the implementation of strategies and programs that provided professional growth and business opportunities for DBR’s members.

Denver Board of REALTORS® leaders intend to announce Lambert’s successor later this year.
