It’s Easy To See Why Denver’s Wash Park Is The Place To Be (The Neighborhoods Surrounding Washington Park)

15Dec11

The neighborhoods surrounding Washington Park include Wash Park, West Wash Park, Bonnie Brae, Belcaro, and Polo Club. They are served by three small commercial/retail areas right in the neighborhood – the Shops along University Boulevard, the Old South Gaylord street shops and the shops and restaurants at the intersection of Alameda and Downing.

Just 10 minutes south of Downtown Denver, Platte Park is one of Denver’s established neighborhoods which has become a very popular place to live recently. While the neighborhood has taken on quite a transformation, it has managed to keep its character. Anchored by Broadway and Old South Pearl Street, you can literally park your car for the weekend and enjoy all the neighborhood has to offer.

“I couldn’t imagine it going smoother or more ideal. You did a great job of looking out for my best interest and making me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. I love the house and the Washington Park neighborhood. Again, I really appreciate everything!”

Perry & Co. Broker Associate Nicole Ridley could write a book about Bow Mar. …212 homes on predominately one acre sites, ranch style homes, mature landscaping. The community is a little bit of a throw-back – kids outside playing, neighbors genuinely care about each other and help out during times of need, neighbors are an extended family. Our community revolves around the lake… now that it’s winter the lake has frozen and we ice skate in the cove, hockey games seem to be going on early in the am and late into the night. In summer, the lake is a flurry of activity with lifeguards from Memorial Day to Labor Day sun up to sun down. Children swim in the lake, jump off docks and play for hours on the water tramp. Adults love to “swim the bouys” for exercise – it’s a mile in circumference. Concerts and events are organized throughout the year. Pretty idyllic…
